ESSENTIAL INFORMATION BEFORE APPLYING TO AUDITION

  1. Applicants must be in Year 8 or above and fully available for the Legally Blonde show week:
    Monday 30 March – Saturday 4 April.
  2. Once accepted as a member, there is a half-yearly membership fee plus a production fee.
These currently total £100 (made up of £65 for six months’ membership and £35 for the upcoming production).
Please speak to a committee member in confidence if these costs present a barrier to participation.
  3. Rehearsals take place on up to three consecutive evenings each week — Sunday to Tuesday, finishing at 9pm.
We typically begin with music rehearsals on up to two evenings a week.
  4. Not all rehearsals involve the full company, but members are expected to attend any rehearsals for which they are called.
  5. WOW relies on volunteers, including licensed chaperones, to stage our productions. We, therefore, ask that a parent/carer obtains a chaperone licence from Dorset Council and joins the chaperone rota for rehearsals and backstage support.
  6. The decision of the audition panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
