WOW’s fundraising committee are running a Family Race Night on Saturday 7 October at the WOW Hall. This event is great fun for all the family and has been brought back by popular request. It runs like a sweepstake where 50 per cent of the take is given out as prizes and 50 per cent goes to WOW. There will be six races on a big screen and the stake can be as little as 50p – so you can just set the amount you wish to spend over the evening e.g. a £1 stake on 6 races is £6. For the younger members, there is a 50p stake – so just £3 for all 6 races.
There is a £1 entry fee to cover nibbles and there will be a raffle, bottle tombola and a soft drinks bar. This is a real fun night and the gates open at the WOW Hall in Park Street at 7:30 with the first race at 7:45. Numbers are limited so please txt or phone your ticket requirements to: 07795 511068.
