Thirty young performers, aged 9 to 15, attended our 2017 summer workshops during the first week of the school holidays. At Friday’s end of the workshop performance, a full house of around 60 enjoyed a sparkling performance of musical numbers from Aladdin. (Watch the closing encore in the video below.) WOW received so many positive comments from parents; here’s just a couple of them: “My boys have had such an amazing time” and “The showcase was fantastic so much talent!”
The workshops were led by the creative team behind many of WOW’s acclaimed productions, that is, director and choreographer Martine Burt and musical director Heather Reed. This is the fourth Summer School that WOW has run and, once again, it was fully booked.
