WOW has joined the Givey fundraising platform to help raise funds for its work with young people. WOW receives no public funds and, due to the pandemic, has lost its main source of income which is ticket sales for its shows. WOW had to postpone and eventually cancel Shrek, which had already incurred a lot of expenses. On top of this, WOW still has ongoing costs such as annual insurances and WOW’s fundraising group have be unable to hold any raffles at performances or separate fundraising events.
Watch WOW’s story in this two-minute video from Givey:
WOW was thrilled and grateful to be named as the chosen charity of the Oddfellows Society, Dorchester. If you would also like to help WOW to continue working with young people and producing first class shows you may wish to make a small donation on the Givey fundraising platform, where WOW receives 100 per cent of all money given.
WOW’s Chair of Trustees, Alan McKechan, said, “We appreciate it’s been a very challenging year for many, and all contributions are hugely appreciated. The support we receive makes an incredible difference and every donation will help the curtain rise again for WOW. Thank you for your support.”
