Summer Workshops 2018

“Thank you for organising another spectacular summer school! A big well done to all involved.” (parental comment)

Now in it’s fifth year, our 2018 week of musical theatre workshops was once again fully booked. Over 30 young performers aged between 9 and 15 had a fun filled week developing their confidence and performance skills with musical numbers from Grease under the leadership of the creative team behind many of WOW’s acclaimed productions, that is, director/choreographer Martine Burt and musical director Heather Reed. Friday afternoon’s showcase to parents was performed to a packed house of over 60 and WOW received many positive comments about the week. (Watch the opening number below or a playlist of all six numbers on this link.)

Team building was also a feature of the week and the following feedback shows how valuable this was: “My parents enrolled my daughter in the summer workshop this summer. I was a little apprehensive as we are from Worcester and she doesn’t know anybody. However she has had the most fantastic time and I have just watched the show on YouTube and I can’t believe how professional it all looked and how much you have achieved in such a short space of time.”
