Best in South West

WOW’s April 2018 production of Footloose won the youth award for company characterisation at the National Operatic and Dramatic Association Awards for the South West region.

Chairman Alan McKechan, who attended the event in Plymouth, said, “I’m thrilled with this award as it recognises the strength of the whole cast in creating and maintaining characters as well as the excellent work of director, Martine Burt, in achieving such depth of characterisation.”

The creative team behind Footloose have set equally high standards for the cast in WOW’s April production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Weymouth Pavilion.

This fun-filled musical adventure with a magical car runs from Wednesday, April 10 to Saturday, April 13 with matinees on the Thursday and Saturday. Tickets are available from the box office or weymouthpavilion.com.
