Seven of our cabaret performers took to the stage in Weymouth Pavilion’s Ocean Room as part of the entertainment for a fundraising fun day for SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) and specifically for the training of Support Dogs which can provide a 50 minute warning that their owner is going to have a seizure, therefore allowing the owner to seek help and get to a place of safety.
The group was very well received by the audience, having grabbed everyone’s attention when they burst onto the stage with their rendition of the Madness hit Baggy Trousers. This was followed by Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious from Mary Poppins and the set concluded with a Motown medley and the 80s hit song Don’t Stop Believin’. This short cabaret also gave WOW’s technical team the chance to use our new digital mixer for the first time in a live performance.
