WOW at the Lions' Show

Lions’ Show Cabaret

Twelve WOW members gave a very polished and powerful performance as part of the entertainment for the Weymouth and Portland Lions Christmas show for senior citizens. The set opened with musical numbers from Disney’s Newsies, 42nd Street and Our House. The cabaret group then performed a short Rock ‘n’ Roll medley before closing with their electrifying version of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious from Mary Poppins.

WOW Chairman, Alan McKechan, said,’I’m delighted to hear that we were invited back this year due to popular demand. The cabaret group are a great credit to WOW and always reflect the high performance standards set by the group’s very talented creative director, Martine Burt.”
